Airplane Upset Recovery Training Aid Available Online

In 1998, the aviation community published the Airplane Upset Recovery Training Aid, providing pilots and instructors with the academic knowledge on airplane upsets. The latest version of this valuable resource (version 2 November 2008) can be downloaded from the Flight Safety Foundation website.
The supplement “High Altitude Operations: Supplement #1 to the Airplane Upset Recovery Training Aid” can be downloaded from here, as well as a number of presentations on upset recovery briefing and high altitude operations.

Manual Handling – CAT Magazine

Halldale Publications’ Civil Aviation Training (CAT) Magazine features an article on ICATEE’s deliverables in its 4th Issue of 2012. Advisory Circular on Stall and Stick Pusher Training issued by FAA

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the FAA have issued an advisory circular on stall and stick pusher training. The core concepts of the training are parallel with the ICATEE principles. ICATEE supported this work, through the FAA Aviation Rulemaking Committee in 2011. Please find the advisory circular here.
